A new year

Hi Yall!

So, a new year is here once again, and another one is behind us. For us last year was special because it was our first real year as a band, and what a year it was! We've played way more gigs than we thought we would, in places and venues we didn't think we were ready for. Our second gig ever was abroad, and even though we could have saved that one for later, since we've evolved so much, we don't regret anything! We've played at Klubi in Turku three times, two on the big stage and one on the smaller stage, and we got to go to Helsinki's Bar Loose in the last minute. It feels great to have been able to see some places outside our own town during our first year in existence!

It took some time but before Christmas we released our first demo, "The SloWerdrive Tapes" (found on this site under"music") which has been listened to more times than we could ever have hoped for. I think that 2012 was the year when we laid the groundwork for Craneium, when we slowly progressed towards our own sound and image.

2013 has a lot to bring us that we don't know about yet, but we´re looking forward to it. We have plans to release an EP on 10" 45rpm vinyl (odd size is odd), if we manage to collect the funds for it. We are also planning on throwing our own club night, "Åbo Church of Doom" at Klubi, and we are looking for bands to invite to play with us.
